Kelsie McManus

I qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2011 and have loved being chairside providing support to the Patient and the Dentist. My experience as a Dental Nurse has been invaluable in understanding the full range of dental treatments available to patients. Since joining The Vallance Dental Centre in 2019 I have developed my skills in Management, currently working towards a Level 4 Diploma in Practice Management. I work together with our team and our patients to ensure the best possible patient journey.

Karim Shokraee

I was inspired to become a dentist since I was a young teenager due to the dramatic effect orthodontics had on my life. I graduated from the University of Manchester in 2009, worked in Leeds for 2 years and have been practicing from the Vallance Dental Centre since 2011.

I always strive to do my best for patients and am passionate about predictable and ethical general dentistry. In my spare time I am a keen sports skydiver and skydiving coach!

Darren Wilkinson

I have worked at the Vallance Dental Centre for the last 10 years and imagine I will remain here for the rest of my working life. I left the University of Manchester in 2009 graduating as a dentist & winning the prestigious Charles Preston Prize. I am very proud to be a part of a practice which embraces and celebrates such a broad spectrum of ethnic, cultural and economic diversity and treats everybody with the dignity and respect they deserve.  It is great to be part of a practice with such a great ethos and the will to give something back.

George Cheesman

Having graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2021 I joined the team at Vallance. It has been a long-time dream of mine to combine my passion for healthcare and practical tasks, and a degree in dentistry has allowed me to do that. I always endeavour to provide the highest quality care for all my patients using techniques backed up by evidence. Other than dentistry, my interests include keeping fit, travelling, and eating good food!

Amy Parr Young

I graduated from Manchester Dental School in 2009, and worked in London for a number of years before moving back to Manchester. I completed the post graduate qualification MJDF with the Royal College of Surgeons, and obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Restorative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute. I find it very rewarding seeing nervous patients and building up their confidence in having dental treatment. I like building trust and connections with people to make dental treatment a more enjoyable experience.

Hareem Hadi

After graduating with BSc (Hon) in Biomedical Science in 2008, I completed Dentistry from Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Exeter and Plymouth in 2013. I have since worked in a range of dental practices across Greater Manchester, serving both NHS and private patients.I am truly passionate about helping my patients to improve all aspects of their oral health. I will always endeavour to deliver the best care to my patients providing ethical general dentistry with a focus on patient education and prevention.In my spare time I enjoy baking, a foodie and enjoy spending time with my young family.

Tiphanie Adam

After qualifying from Newcastle University in 2017, I completed a dental core training year in 2019, working as a senior house officer at James Cook Hospital and in the community dental setting. During this year I gained invaluable skills treating those with additional needs & extremely anxious patients, skills I now transfer whilst treating all my patients, but especially on those who dread coming to visit the dentist. I have since cared for both NHS and private patients in Nottingham before moving back to Manchester in 2024 and joining the Vallance Team.Outside of work I enjoy being part of a running club, completing triathlons and cooking new foods.

Louisa Hope Hartley

Having graduated from Newcastle University in 2023, I have recently moved back to the north west to practice dentistry in Manchester. I am passionate about providing quality dental care and ensuring my patients have a positive experience.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking and exploring new cuisines, as well as staying active through gym workouts and running. I also love travelling and discovering new places whenever I can!

Arfeen Aslam

Dr. Arfeen Aslam graduated from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Dentistry, King’s College London and obtained his membership of the faculty of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012. He has completed various postgraduate dental courses including a certificate in advanced aesthetic and restorative dentistry, becoming a certified provider of a wide range of orthodontic treatments and completing a year long programme in implant placement and restoration. Along with a caring, ethical approach he strives to make a difference to each and every person that he treats. Arfeen won the prestigious Private Dentistry award as the Best Young Dentist North in 2018.

Jonathan Skidmore

I have been a practicing Dentist since 2014 and I have developed a special interest in Endodontics (Root canal treatment). In 2019 I completed a 2 year masters program in Endodontics with Simply Endo and the University of Chester. My first experience of Endodontics at University were one of frustration and thinking how am I ever going to carry out this treatment on real life patients? The complexity of this treatment fascinated me and the equipment became my friend to manage both simple and difficult cases. I am a member of both the royal college of surgeons of Glasgow and the British Society of Endodontics, I have also completed an Invisalign brace training programme. I am lucky to be providing a treatment I love, to patients who need it while striving for the best outcomes and always putting the patient first.

Steph Azmy

Dr Steph is passionate about cosmetic, functional dentures made with precision. She is often referred to by her colleagues and patients as the ‘Denture Queen’ because of her love for removable prosthodontics.

She is completing a PGDip in Restorative and Aesthetic dentistry. Steph has a passion for teaching and will often speak alongside her colleagues on courses/seminars as well as show casing her work on instagram.

Outside of work Steph loves to play tennis and football as well as hitting the gym.

Satnam Moonga

I have enjoyed providing dental treatment in a wide variety of settings over the last 30 years having graduated from Kings College London in 1992. Following many years of surgical dentistry, I decided to consolidate my interest in Periodontal Disease by completing an MSc Periodontology where I became well versed in various treatment modalities when addressing Periodontal Disease. This is because Periodontal Disease is one of the most challenging dental disease facing the majority of the population at the moment.I currently provide Non-surgical periodontal therapy including Guided Biofilm Therapy, and adjuncts like Emdogain therapy to improve treatment results. In some cases where this may not be successful, surgical treatment may be an options. In addition to the treatment of periodontal disease, I am happy to provide root coverage and gingival grafts for suitably motivated patients.

Eesha Chauhan

One of the most rewarding aspects of being a Dental Therapist is being able to provide a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere for my patients. It is fulfilling to be able to have a positive effect on a patient’s attitude to their oral condition and work with them to improve it. In 2020, I graduated from University of Birmingham with a degree in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. After this, I joined Vallance and became part of an incredible team. In my spare time, I enjoy swimming and practicing piano.
